Hot or Not Web Design Inspiration

I recently discovered CommandShift3.com, a web design comparison/rating site that has turned out to be quite inspiring. This is a fantastic tool for any web designer looking for some design inspiration! There are lot’s of great sites you can look through quickly and efficiently, voting on those sites you like best. Because it’s built using AJAX the voting is instantaneous and you move right on to another set of sites to review.

Possibly my favorites part of the site, there are sections for the best sites and worst sites ever, as voted on by the sites users. This is an excellent place to review some of the most effective design ideas and implementation as well as some of the most obvious design mistakes many websites employ to be reminded what to avoid.

Lastly there is a review sites by tag section which is excellent if you have an idea what you’re looking for, but need some inspiration around a specific idea (IE clean layouts) – I’ve just found the site and I love this section already! I’ve found some beautiful websites that I hope will inspire my own designs in the future – I hope you find something here that inspires you as well!
