According to www.lipsum.com the dummy text first came into popularity in the late 1500′s when a popular printer used mixed up portions (sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 ) of a “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (“The Extremes of Good and Evil”) , a piece of classical latin literature, written in 45 BC by Cicero to create a type specimen book.
