Fun With Logo Equations

Apparently a little creative math + Photoshop + a Blogspot account goes a long way. The guys over at the Logologos blog have some interesting ideas about the origins of some pretty recognizable logos.  I found this through a post from logo designer David Airey over at the LogoDesignLove.com blog recently.

Some of my favorites include the Apple logo equation depicted above, circa logo arithmatic below and the QuickTime logo math which depicts it’s origin as an amalgam including elements of the Volvo logo, a speedometer and plenty of buffing.

    Hi Jayson,

Thanks very much for the kind mention, and I’m glad you also enjoyed the work from those at Logologos (you’ve got the URL wrong, having added one too many ’s’s).
